When can I apply for FACC?
Cardiovascular fellows who are within six months of completing their training or early career cardiologists who have completed training in the last three years are encouraged to apply for Fellowship in the ACC. The link below lists detailed criteria for FACC application for board certified physicians practicing for more than 3 years.
The ACC offers tiered renewal programs for the first 5 years out of training, recognizing that the first few years are a time of personal, professional and financial change.
Members applying to advance to FACC are STILL eligible to receive these discounts that apply to both national and chapter dues!

- 50% OFF = Second Year
- 25% OFF = Third Year
- 10% OFF = Fourth Year
FIT requirements to become FACC
- Apply as soon as six months before completing training, and up to three years after you’ve graduated.
- Obtain two sponsorship letters (these can be from your training program director and the ACC state chapter governor).
- Fill out the online membership application.
